The North Bay Hindu Center will celebrate Varalakshmi Vratam on Friday morning, August 25 from 9:15 to 11:15 AM. The puja will be conducted via Zoom by Pandit Viswanathan in a guided format. You will receive instructions via what materials to collect and the zoom link once you register for the event.
In honor of the goddess of prosperity, Lakshmi, Varalakshmi Vratam is a puja primarily performed by married women for their family's well-being. Varalakshmi is the manifestation of Lakshmi who grants boons (varam).
Please join us and register on our event page and remember to check your email for how to pick up your materials and get the zoom link. It is important that you pick up you coordinate and pick up your materials (in either Petaluma or Novato) ahead of the event on Friday, August 25.
