The North Bay Hindu Center is dedicated towards sharing the rich heritage of Hinduism to our entire community. We welcome everyone to experience our religion, culture and traditions through spiritual classes, children and youth programming, religious festivities, and cultural events. Our main aim is to establish a temple centrally located for Marin and Sonoma counties. This is not possible without your help and participation.
In Spring 2014, NBHC filed and formed a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the North Bay Hindu Center (tax ID number : 46-5635218), with a primary goal of establishing a Hindu Temple and Community Center in the San Francisco North Bay. Traditionally, a Hindu temple is a spiritual destination as well as a landmark for arts, annual festivals and community celebrations. NBHC aims to enable both spiritual and cultural understanding that will enable the community to learn and celebrate rich Indian heritage and culture.
India’s culture is among the world's oldest and intrinsically linked to Hinduism, also known as Sanātana Dharma, the "Eternal Philosophy”. Sanātana Dharma encapsulates those great values and disciplines that uphold, sustain, and ultimately lead humanity to the sublime heights of worldly and spiritual glory.
