North Bay Hindu Center will be celebrating the birth anniversary of Lord Hanuman, the divine symbol of Strength, Devotion and Selfless service to Lord Ram.
A central figure in the Ramayana, he is a divine vanara (monkey-like humanoid) and an incarnation of Shiva, known for lifting mountains and leaping across oceans to fight evil.
Chanting the Hanuman Chalisa 108 times and reading Sundarkand, are some ways to observe this auspicoous occassion.
The program for the day includes:
6:00 PM - 6:30 PM Hanuman Abhishekam
6:30 PM - 7:30 PM Chanting of Hanuman Chalisa (11 Times)
7:30 PM - 8:00 PM Aarti followed by Prasadam
May the blessings of Lord Hanuman guide us towards peace, prosperity, and purpose.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
