Dear North Bay Family,
A few months ago, I had talked about an opportunity before us to secure a permanent home for the North Bay Hindu Center.
Well, today we have reached a CRITICAL MILESTONE in that journey and are within striking distance from accomplishing this goal - Just $375,000 away.
For over a decade, the North Bay Hindu Center (NBHC) has been a "Temple on Wheels. " We have gathered in rented rooms, borrowed halls, and currently meet on the second floor of a Lutheran church in Petaluma. While we have navigated this journey with immense gratitude, our community has outgrown temporary spaces.
Today, we stand at a historic crossroads. We have a rare, immediate opportunity to secure a permanent home—but we must close the final gap right now – and we need your HELP today, more than at any other time
The Opportunity: 1363 Fulton Road, Santa Rosa
We have identified an ideal, pre-zoned religious facility at 1363 Fulton Road. This is no longer a distant dream; it is a tangible property waiting for us. This permanent center will finally give our community:
A dedicated sanctuary for generations of Indian Hindus—uniting North, South, and every regional tradition under one roof.
Classrooms for our children to learn heritage, languages, and traditions.
A cultural hub for Carnatic and Hindustani Music, Classical Dances, and community celebrations.
A weekly gathering haven for our seniors and an immediate anchor of belonging for newcomers.
The Final Stretch: Where We Stand Right Now
Through extraordinary community generosity, we have already raised over $1,125,000. We are incredibly close to the finish line, but property acquisitions require decisive action. We need to secure the remaining funds immediately to close the deal and minimize long-term debt.
