Join us at the Sri Shakti Temple at 220 Stanley Street in Petaluma as we host a clay Ganesha murthi workshop. If you are interested in participating, please send an email to contactus@northbaytemple.org indicating how many Ganesha murthis you and your family would like to built. Cost is $20 per murthi due on the day of the workshop. Materials and clay will be provided. Children will be allowed to display their idols (they can decorate and paint their idols) at the Ganesh Homa

In our ongoing effort to promote the different Classical Arts forms from the Indian subcontinent, North Bay Hindu Center is excited to offer Odissi Dance classes at the Temple premises. Classes will be conducted by Ruma, who is a trained Odissi practitioner and a member of our community. Participants ages 5 years and above are welcome to join. North Bay Hindu Center will be celebrating Mata Ki Chowki to honor and worship Maa Durga, Maa Lakshmi, Maa Saraswati, and other forms of Shakti (divine feminine power). It is a way to honor the divine feminine and seek blessings for well-being, peace, prosperity, and the removal of obstacles.
