Mata Ki Chowki - Sun, May 3, 2026, 6:00 PM

North Bay Hindu Center will be celebrating Mata Ki Chowki to honor and worship Maa Durga, Maa Lakshmi, Maa Saraswati, and other forms of Shakti (divine feminine power).

It is a way to honor the divine feminine and seek blessings for well-being, peace, prosperity, and the removal of obstacles.

The occasion is often associated with deep devotion and spiritual reflection to strengthen one’s faith and connection to the divine.

The program for the day includes:

6:00 PM - 6:15 PM Opening Prayers, Lighting of the Lamps and offering flowers

6:15 PM - 7:15 PM Mata Ki Bhajans

7:15 PM - 7:30 PM Mata Ji Ki Aarti followed by Bhog

May the blessings of Maa Durga, Maa Lakshmi and Maa Saraswathu guide us towards peace, prosperity, and purpose.
