On June 2, 2023, we were all shocked to hear of the tragic train accident in the Balasore district in the state of Odisha in eastern India.
Unfortunately, we lost 288 people, with an additional 1,175 injured.
The North Bay Hindu Center (NBHC) offers its condolences in this period of grieving for the victims and their family / friends of the Odisha train tragedy on June 2.
Words can never do such incidents justice. However, NBHC does welcome you to the temple this weekend as a place of solace or to perform a puja in remembrance.
