The program will include:
Kathak dance program
Children's dress showcase (please dress as Radha / Krishna)
Bhajan / Kirtan
Aarti
Prasad
The Kathak program will feature the Vandhana Dance Company, the Santa Rosa branch of the Vandhana Kathak Dance School, performing a pranaam and two additional dances.
Children are encourage to dress up as Radha / Krishna or Gopis / Gopikas for the festivities.
Please note that the actual dates for Krishna Janmasthami vary based on the saṃpradāya (tradition) you follow:
Smarta sampradaya - Thursday, August 18
Vaishnava sampradaya - Friday, August 19
Of course to reiterate, NBHC will be celebrating on Saturday, August 20 in Petaluma.
